Vivint has changed the way the packages work. Instead of customers paying for their equipment as part of the their monthly service all packages will now be either $39.99 for most packages or $49.99 if there are indoor cameras- then the customers will finance their equipment.
Benefits of financing:
- Customer pays the equipment off in 60 months and then they just have to pay their base rate of $39.99 or $49.99. Once the equipment is paid off its owned and they no longer have to pay monthly for it which can save them hundreds or thousands of dollars depending on how long they remain Vivint customers.
- The customer will receive two bills: one for the monitoring of $39.99 or $49.99 and the other for their financed equipment. Once the financed equipment is paid off that bill is gone forever!
- $50 due @ time of placing the order goes towards their first months bill.
- The equipment bill will be based on the types of equipment the customer chooses, but here are the general guidelines:
Security Package: $39.99
Equipment: Sky panel, 4 door sensors, 1 motion detector, 1 yard sign, 1 Smart Element Thermostat
Smart + Security Package: $49.99
Equipment: Sky panel, 4 door sensors, 1 motion detector, 1 yard sign, any amount of indoor cameras
